Christ Ahnsahnghong – Guilty by Association
Christ Ahnsahnghong and the fallacy of guilt by association
Many of the websites that speak negatively about Christ Ahnsahnghong and the World Mission Society Church of God use the same logic, that logic is “guilty by association.” Guilt by association is defined as an inductive informal fallacy, which is also known as a hasty generalization. Pretty much, if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it’s a duck, and anything that comes from that same country, is also a duck! This fallacy is made as an appeal to emotion and is not based on facts.
Some examples of guilt by association are as follows:
- Peter is a criminal. Peter is from California. Therefore, all the people from California are criminals.
- Tom, John, Chris, and Will are all friends of Ray, and they are all corrupt politicians. Tammy is a friend of Ray. Therefore, Tammy is a corrupt politician.
2,000 years ago Jesus was a victim of this fallacy. When Jesus was crucified, He was crucified between two criminals. Although Jesus Himself was not a criminal, I am sure that those who did not know Jesus Christ automatically judged Him and thought of Him as being a criminal as a result of association.
This is the same thing people try to do with the World Mission Society Church of God and Christ Ahnsahnghong. They speak about the Unification Church and Sun Myung Moon, then they say that the World Mission Society Church of God and Christ Ahnsahnghong must be the same since it started in South Korea.
In reality, there are absolutely no similarities in the teachings of the World Mission Society Church of God and the Unification Church. The Unification Church teaches principles that do not come from the Bible, as per their official website:
“Sun Myung Moon studied the Bible and many other religious teachings in order to unravel these mysteries of life and human history.”
The World Mission Society Church of God and the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong come strictly from the Bible and nothing else. The Unification Church keeps Sunday service, Christmas and all other teachings that do not come from the Bible. The World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Passover and the Sabbath of the New Covenant just as Jesus taught 2,000 years ago.
So instead of judging by standards of association with other religious groups, why don’t you try to understand Christ like the disciples did 2,000 years ago?
How did the disciples recognize Jesus 2,000 years ago?
John 4:41-42 – “And because of his words many more became believers. They said to the woman, ‘We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the savior of the world.’”
2,000 years ago, the first thing people considered was His teachings. It was because of His teachings that the people believed He was the savior of the world. What was the second thing they considered?
John 1:44-45 – “Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’”
The second thing the disciples considered was how Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of the Old Testament. Then it was because of His teachings and the prophecies He fulfilled that the disciples were able to recognize Jesus Christ as the Savior.
In the same way, it is because of what He taught and the prophecies He fulfilled that I believe Christ Ahnsahnghong is the second coming of Christ – not because of what people say about Him or by how popular He is.
From my research, I can confidently say that there are no similarities between the Unification Church and the World Mission Society Church of God.

I am 100% positive that WMSCOG is the true church established through the teachings of Christ in the bible. If anyone has eyes to see they will clearly recognize WMSCOG keep all the teachings in the bible and all the prophesies regarding the 2nd coming of Christ were fulfilled by Christ Ahnsahnghong. That is why we testify everything through the bible just as the disciples did 2000 years ago (Jn 1:44-45), as this should be our standard in our belief in God.
When I studied ‘Where’ Second Coming Christ should appear from through the words of the bible I was astonished to see how clearly we can see South Korea is testified. Even though many other Christian denominations came from there they do not fulfill the requirements of the true church that is attested through the bible. God is so merciful coming to this earth to give us salvation, let us give praise to Them and trust in Their words. -
This article truly let’s those who belong to God understand the truth from the falsehood. Only the Root of David can open the seven seals. It is only Christ Ahnsahnghong who has opened the seven seals, the seven feasts of three times, in these last days. Even though there are some people who say they belong to God and they are God’s people, but based on the fact that they do not realize how Christ Ahnsahnghong completely fulfilled the prophecy as the Root of David who will open the seven seals shows how blessed we are to know him and to receive him.

This article did a really good job at showing that truly there is nothing new under the sun (Ecc 1:9). The same way 1st coming Christ was subjected to Guilt by association the same way now the true church where salvation can be found in the last days which was established by 2nd coming Christ, Christ Ahnsahnghong is being subjected to it all over again.
Comparing the teachings of the Unification church and the Church of God we can clearly see that both churches are completely different even by looking at the teachings alone. We should not base our salvation on unbiased comparisons but on hard core facts and Bible prophecy. -
Nowadays people are wrongfully grouping our church and the Savior Christ Ahnsahnghong with other false organizations in South Korea. This is a shameful repeat of history. The approach adopted by the disciples who received the Savior 2,000 years ago is the best way. When we listen to the teachings of our Father Ahnshanghong and see that they are in the Bible and when we see all of the numerous prophecies that our Father Christ Anhshanghong perfectly fulfilled, then we can know that surely He is our God! Let us not take the lazy fallible way to discerning who is God, but let us study the bible diligently and receive the true Christ!

It’s amazing how simple this is to understand. The only way to recognize Christ
when He comes a second time is through the prophecies He fulfills and also His
teachings which are also found clearly in the Bible. Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled all
the prophecies and His teachings are exactly as they were 2,000 years ago, just as
the Bible prophesied they would be. That is why we must believe in Him. It doesn’t
make sense to say that they WMSCOG and the Unification Church are the same just
because they are both in South Korea. Ted Bundy, the infamous serial killer, was born
in America. Is it wise then to assume that everyone born in America is a serial killer?

People’s insistence in associating the World Mission Society Church of God with the Unification church because they both come from Korea, is such a poor and empty argument that really has no foundation of truth at all. Due to generalizing and categorizing people/companies because of things like where they are from and what other people say about them, people tend to miss out on what could be very important and meaningful experiences in life. And in this case, when talking about salvation and eternal life, their insistence of guilt by association leads people to reject or misunderstand the most important thing in life, which is knowing and understanding God and receiving God’s eternal blessing. Nowadays, people conduct extensive research when making purchases that will change their lives. The salvation of their soul should be the one thing in which they do the most research for, in order to find the truth. God says that His people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge (Hos. 4:6). When you look into the Bible, the map to lead us to God, you will find that it leads to Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, and the World Mission Society Church of God.

Christ has indeed come a second time as Christ Ahnsahnghong. Surely He is our God. How much mercy and love God has for us that He would prove Himself to us mere sinners by fulfilling scripture so that we can have true faith being able to distinguish truth from falsehood

C1:Santa is a dog.IF the above argument makes sense to anyone who analyzes it, he is entitled to believe that the WMSCOG is the same as the Unification Church.
In actuality, there is nothing in common between the WMSCOG and the Unification Church. If you want to know Christ Ahnsahnghong correctly, study the Bible correctly, because the Bible testifies about Him(John 5:39).

When I see written comments on this page I see as God is perfect when He said the secret of the kingdom of heaven is for us and not for them. It’s so clear what the Bible says for us but like other people cannot understand. Thanks to Our Father and Mother for allow me understand the true.

This article is amazing, what happened in the past teaches us about the days we are living in . if Jesus never showed us the way of the new covenant we could never be saved.
2000yr ago there where many people who believed in God but rejected 1st coming Christ , because they did not understand the purpose of the scriptures. If we do not know the purpose of the scriptures we will make the same error the Pharisees and Sadducees did, which is to reject the savior even though they read the scriptures.As I have studied the prophecies through the bible in the world mission society church of God, they all point to Christ Ahnsahnghong . Truly Christ AHNSAHNGHONG IS OUR GOD. PLEASE if you did not understand study again the prophecy in the bible so we will not make the same error. The scriptures testify about Christ Ahnsahnghong he is our God.

I hope that everyone who views the WMSCOG as guilty because of its association can soon broaden their minds and views on things especially when it comes to salvation, fallacy is such a grave mistake unfortunately because of this many shrink back. Through the scriptures we can come to realize true Christ (John 1:44-45, 5:39) not through rash conclusions that some may come to make. Thanks to God Almighty we have recognized Christ in this age, I give eternal Praises and honor to Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for the eyes they have given us to see!

Yeah, this is so true! We must base our knowledge about Christ through the Bible. not a made up story passed down from generation to generation. We must be the ones who receive God through His teachings from the Bible and Him through the prophecies. We must not base our judgment on an appeal to our feelings, but rather the truth inside the Bible.

It’s unfortunate that people insist on believing the words of people and then group The World Mission Society Church of God with the Unification Church. It’s obvious that they are not related at all. Even we can the disciples were able to see that Jesus was the savior because of what He was teaching and He fulfilled bible prophecy. This article points out well that generalizations result in mistaken identification.

Truly thanks be to God Most High Christ Ahnsahnghong for coming for a second time and for giving us all the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven. He fulfilled all Bible prophecy and taught us and reminded us about all the truths of the New Covenant. In this way He gives us true faith to believe in the promise of salvation that he has given us for a second time and to believe His teachings as the words of life that only He the Root of David can reveal to us in these last days.
