World Mission Society Church of God, Who Are They?

The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) is a Christian non-denominational church with more than 2,500 locations and 2.5 million registered members in 175 countries. The Church of God is unique because it believes in not only God the Father but also God the Mother and this is all on the basis of the Bible.

The mission of the World Mission Society Church of God is to restore the truth of the early Church, the Church that Jesus Christ established. The WMSCOG is also known by the name Church of God, and this is a verbatim designation which comes from the name of God’s church in the Bible.

What Are the Beliefs of the World Mission Society Church of God?

Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ established the Church of God under one teaching and one truth: the gospel of the New Covenant. Two thousand years later, there are more than 850 different denominations of Christianity, each holding to its own doctrines and teachings, leading to much confusion about the correct way to follow Christ. This is the reason why the Bible says Christ would come a second time.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. 

According to the verse above Christ must appear a second time to bring salvation. The reason He must appear a second time is because all the teachings that He established 2,000 years ago disappeared during the dark ages. He needs to come to restore the teachings of the Early Church, and He will do so under a new name.

The Bible clearly says second coming Christ will come with a new name. This means that His name will not be Jesus at His second coming. When we analyze the teachings of the Early Church, and the teachings of the World Mission Society Church of God we can see that they are the same, and the one who restored them, is Christ Ahnsahnghong. This is why we believe Christ Ahnsahnghong is the second coming of Christ. 

Christ Ahnsahnghong Established the World Mission Society Church of God

In 1964 Christ Ahnsahnghong established the World Mission Society Church of God. Since then, it has become a beacon of light to those searching for the original teachings of Christ. The World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Sabbath Day, the Passover and the Seven Feasts of God. The Church of God is also the only Christian church that believes in God the Mother, as testified in the Bible.

World Mission Society Church of God Is the Prophetical Zion

Micah 4:1-2 NLT In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all—the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship. People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.

Prophetically speaking the World Mission Society Church of God is also known as Mount Zion or Zion. As stated in the prophecy above, in the last days people will stream to God’s house, which is Mount Zion. They will go there to learn God’s ways so that they may walk in His paths. Then where exactly is this place?

As you can probably understand, Mt. Zion is not an actual mountain. Prophetically speaking Mt. Zion represents a Church.

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem… to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.

World Mission Society Church of God can be called Zion since they meet the criteria according to the Bible. The Bible describes Zion as the place where we can keep the feasts of God.

Today, the World Mission Society Church of God is the only church keeping the feasts of God as they are described in the Bible. The Bible has no mention of celebrations such as Christmas or Easter, instead, it talks about the Sabbath and the seven feasts of God. Although a church may claim to keep the feasts of God, it is only the church which understands the prophecy and fulfillment of the feasts that can be acknowledged as Zion.
