WMSCOG a Religious Group in Korea
Where was the WMSCOG founded?
When browsing the web, I came across an article that questioned the beliefs of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) due to the fact that it started in South Korea. It’s ironic, but when you look into the Bible, the same thing was done to Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago:
John 1:45-46 “Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ ‘Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked…”
As we see in the passage, even 2,000 years ago the people of Israel had a fixed concept about Nazareth and that made Nathanael judge and doubt the credibility of Jesus just because He was from there.
That is the same bias the article was trying to push on the reader regarding the WMSCOG and its founder. They even quote a Korean professor saying, “There are many gods and Jesus[es] in Korea.” This is true; there are many people in Korea who claim to be Second Coming Christ. Doesn’t that make you wonder why? I mean, South Korea is not even a historically Christian country – then why is this phenomena happening?
Imitations cannot exist without an authentic one
Well, let me answer that with an analogy: in today’s society, brand name items are very popular. You have brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, and so on. These brands are so popular and so expensive that many imitations appear in the market. Now let me ask you a question: without a real Chanel bag, can there be imitations? Or if I say I have an imitation of a Louis Vuitton wallet, is that possible without a real Louis Vuitton wallet existing? No, that would be impossible.
Now why do so many people who claim to be Second Coming Christ appear in South Korea? The answer is simple: because the real Second Coming Christ must come from there. Let’s see:
Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
According to the Bible, Second Coming Christ must appear in the last days and bring salvation. Salvation literally means to save someone from harm. Then where does the salvation work start from in the last days?
Revelation 7:1-3 “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’”
Before the great disaster comes on the last day according to the Bible prophecy, the work of salvation must start from the east. The original language of the Bible’s New Testament, which is Greek, communicates the same directional point: “…from the rising of the sun…”
Now the question is, who is the savior from the east? And where is the east according to the Bible? That’s a topic for another discussion…

Why not S. Korea?! The Bible points that Christ will appear from the East (Rev 7:1). Lets just say Christ came from the USA, I’m sure that same person that said why S. Korea? would say why USA? It’s actually amazing that second Coming Christ came from S. Korea because when you study the Bible about him there is no other country that fits the description in the Bible but S. Korea! I’m so amazed by the verse in John 1:45-46 about can anything good come from Nazareth, it truly shows how the same things that happened 2,000 years ago happened in this age.

This article was amazing! It’s so clear just as many couldn’t accept Jesus because he came from Nazareth, many will not accept Christ Ahnsahnghong because he came from Korea. That still will never change the fact that the true second coming Christ came from Korea. When you study the prophecies in the bible it’s clear that South Korea is the place where Second coming Christ would appear. Then if you believe the bible it will be easy to accept Christ Ahnsahnghong. And as for the false Christs in Korea you can differentiate true from false through whom brought salvation according to the bible teaching. Christ Ahnsahnghong brought us salvation through the new covenant Passover!

God’s prophecy is so amazing, in the Bible it is so specific as to even detail where the redemption work will start. So no wonder there are so many false prophets coming from South Korea, where true Second Coming Christ started his redemption work. Even physically South Korea was not a predominantly Christian country, so we can see truly the only reason why Christ came from South Korea was to fulfill the prophecies that were written down long ago. While studying the prophecy of God, we should judge according to the Bible not just by blind faith. History truly repeats itself, just like people judged Christ according to where he came from 2,000 years ago the same is happening now. It is true that in order for there to be a replica or a fake of something, there has to be an original first. Without the reality, the copy cannot exist. This is just more proof for those of us who believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and know that He is the Second Coming Christ. That was a good point about Korea historically not even being a Christian country, rather being one that followed Buddhist and Confucius precepts. It makes no sense for so many false Christ’s to come from there. That is, unless of course the true Second Coming Christ appeared in that country. Which He did. And His name is Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Most Americans know very little about South Korea. So, the moment that they hear that second coming Christ appeared in South Korea, they immediately question it. The reason they do so is because of a lack of knowledge both in a physical sense and in a biblical sense. However, the more knowledge and understanding we have in both of these areas, then the more we will come to believe that the county of South Korea is actually the land of prophecy.
Prophets who lived hundreds of years ago saw South Korea in their visions of the coming of Christ at His second coming. We know this because all of the prophecies are being fulfilled now in South Korea. Although it may be hard to accept or grasp in the beginning, if we humble ourselves to the Word of God, then it is clear the South Korea is the place where second coming Christ appeared at his second coming for our salvation.

There’s a specific reason as to why Christ Ahnsahnghong came from S Korea. Like the article states, there are a lot of jesus(es) out there… but fortunately, God left us the Bible so that we may identify who the True one is, who the real one is. Through the Bible, we can understand why Christ chose S Korea.
It’s actually not something that should surprise us as Christians, it was prophesied in the Bible long before it actually happened.

This article shows how it doesn’t matter how we think about how God is going to come , but what matters the most is what the bible says. The Bible says that 2nd coming Christ is going to come from the east.
Also when 1st coming Christ came he spoke about what is going to happen when he comes again in Matthew 24:3-8 NIVAs Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
This verse allows us to understand that 2nd coming Christ has definitely come because there are false Christs. These things must happen. Surely Christ Ahnsahnghong is our 2nd coming because he gave us salvation.The sign that he gives us is the way we can recognize him. Truly he is our God.

It is strange that so many people claim to the second coming of Christ and most are from South Korea. The article clearly shows that it’s because of bible prophecy it’s like this. It makes sense that the Second Coming Christ has to come from the east since that is where salvation will start, as it shows in Revelation 7:1. I hope people will take the opportunity to study at the World Mission Society Church of God so they can differentiate well between the real Second Coming Christ according to the bible apart from the imitations.

God’s administration is amazing and His will is contained in all things! Truly, how could imitators exist without an original. The fact that so many false Christ’s have appeared from Korea, a country that is not even historically know for Christianity, is enough to show that the second Christ should come from Korea. Prophecy shows and proves to us that Christ Ahnsahnghong is the second Christ whom has brought salvation from Korea, the land in the east John saw in the Revelation from the island of Patmos.

2,000 years ago the teachers of the Law denied Jesus Christ even though they knew the Bible word for word. The reason we believe in Jesus is because He fulfilled the prophecies of the Bible. In the same way, Christ Ahnsahnghong is Second coming Christ because He fulfilled what was written about Him through the prophecy and brought the Seal of God, something only God can do (Rev7: 1-3). Even though in my mind I question how come S. Korea out of all the places of the world… it is because God said so (Isa55:8). Thanks to Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for allowing Their children to understand the Secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven (Mt10: 13).

The most important thing to us, the goal of our faith, should be our salvation. Then where does the work of salvation start in the last days? From the East, specifically according to bible prophecy, South Korea. Should the country matter to us, we should be so thankful that we can even receive salvation. Even to think, out of all the countries in the world, why does South Korea have the most people claiming they are Second Coming Christ? This should let us realize that it’s because the true Second Coming Christ must have come from there.

The way our God almighty works is outstanding we can say for a fact that where he decides to come from is not up to any human but up to God most high himself! If the Bible says he will come from there then who are we to question Gods perfect word? it is sad that people fall short of salvation because God doesn’t come according to their standards, like the teachers of the law 2000 years ago it is the same now, Christ Ahnsahnghong is truly the 2nd coming of Christ because of his fulfilling of many prophecies! Though many in South Korea claim to be the second coming right away we can see that they are liars, (like a false remake of a popular brand) because they don’t have the true mark which is salvation (Heb 9:28)!

So many people think that 2nd coming Christ is supposed to come literally on the clouds. Then if this is true, why would the Bible continually warn us about the appearance of false Christs? No human being could appear in the sky with angels and a trumpet call that the whole world could see at the same time. Then if this was truly how God was to come a 2nd time all human beings would automatically be disqualified from being able to be 2nd coming Christ. Yet God gives us a warning about false Christs because the true Christ will come in the flesh a 2nd time as he did the 1st time to whichever location he chooses. The earth is like a speck of dust compared to God then what does it matter what side of that speck he decides to come to?

God lets us know that history repeats itself. It is interesting that the same slanderous remarks that were made about 2000 years ago regarding Jesus Christ and the Early Church are being made now about Christ Ahnsahnghong and Jerusalem Mother and the World Mission Society Church of God. People need to just focus on following the Bible which is the word of God our creator and not be shaken by the words of man which has no power at all.

It is through the Bible that we can recognize Christ. In the Bible there are many prophecies about second coming Christ and specifically about where He would appear to start his ministry. In Revelation 7:1-3, it let’s us know that He will come from the east. It should not be surprising then to hear that second coming Christ appeared in South Korea as this is a country in the east. In South Korea there have been many false Christs which is more evidence that the true Christ must be from there, as we can understand that false Christs can only exist if there is the true Christ. Let’s study the prophecies of the Bible not follow our own thoughts and be led to God who gives salvation.
