WMSCOG a Religious Group in Korea
Where was the WMSCOG founded?
When browsing the web, I came across an article that questioned the beliefs of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) due to the fact that it started in South Korea. It’s ironic, but when you look into the Bible, the same thing was done to Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago:
John 1:45-46 “Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ ‘Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked…”
As we see in the passage, even 2,000 years ago the people of Israel had a fixed concept about Nazareth and that made Nathanael judge and doubt the credibility of Jesus just because He was from there.
That is the same bias the article was trying to push on the reader regarding the WMSCOG and its founder. They even quote a Korean professor saying, “There are many gods and Jesus[es] in Korea.” This is true; there are many people in Korea who claim to be Second Coming Christ. Doesn’t that make you wonder why? I mean, South Korea is not even a historically Christian country – then why is this phenomena happening?
Imitations cannot exist without an authentic one
Well, let me answer that with an analogy: in today’s society, brand name items are very popular. You have brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, and so on. These brands are so popular and so expensive that many imitations appear in the market. Now let me ask you a question: without a real Chanel bag, can there be imitations? Or if I say I have an imitation of a Louis Vuitton wallet, is that possible without a real Louis Vuitton wallet existing? No, that would be impossible.
Now why do so many people who claim to be Second Coming Christ appear in South Korea? The answer is simple: because the real Second Coming Christ must come from there. Let’s see:
Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
According to the Bible, Second Coming Christ must appear in the last days and bring salvation. Salvation literally means to save someone from harm. Then where does the salvation work start from in the last days?
Revelation 7:1-3 “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’”
Before the great disaster comes on the last day according to the Bible prophecy, the work of salvation must start from the east. The original language of the Bible’s New Testament, which is Greek, communicates the same directional point: “…from the rising of the sun…”
Now the question is, who is the savior from the east? And where is the east according to the Bible? That’s a topic for another discussion…

It only makes sense for Christ to return to this earth in South Korea. South Korea has the highest number of false Christs than any other nation around the world. The bible says in Matt.24:23-24, “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear…” Yes, “At that time” refers to the time Christ is to come again. When he comes again there will be many false Christs. Jesus warns us not to follow the ones who say they are Christ. Then how are we suppose to know who second coming Christ is?
John 5:39 “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me…” Come to the World Mission Society Church of God and find out who the scriptures testify to. -
It has been very clear even since 2000 years ago when First coming Christ Jesus came, there were people who actually doubted Him since he came from the town called Nazareth (John 1:45-46) because they had their own fixed idea about Nazareth. So is the same nowadays Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong who came from South Korea according to the prophecies of the bible (Heb 9:27, Rev 7:1)
Even though so called experts claim that in South Korea there are many “Christs” therefore denying True Second coming Christ , isn’t it curious why even the false ” Christs” appear in a country without any Christian background ,well it is because the Real one must appear there also! Just like famous brands being faked to be sold for cheap so is the same with the Truth! Without real Second Coming Christ there wouldn’t be any fake ones. But when we look into prophecies we can see that Second coming Christ will appear from the east, from the rising of the sun (Rev 7:1) -
This article is so clear in the sense that, if the bible testifies about God coming from the east(South Korea), we MUST believe it.
So why did God have to emphasize a specific location not only at His 1st coming but also 2nd coming? So that His people can have a starting point to begin where to look for Him when comes! Because if God never gave us a location, it’d be even harder to find Christ when He comes to this earth. If there was no direction to look for Christ, everyone all over the world would claim to be Christ, even more than there are at the current moment! But because so many false christs appear all at the same time in one country(South Korea), then it must be true that the real Christ is also in South Korea.
But to then know which one is the true one, we must study the prophecies in the bible that Christ must fulfill and see out of all of them which one is doing the will of God and fulfilling prophecies. Christ must fulfill the prophecies concerning Himself, this is the only way we can believe in Him. Its the same as 2000 years ago when Jesus testified concerning Himself to his disciples after his resurrection.
And adding to the point about judging WMSCOG just because its from South Korea? This is unnecessarily unreasonable, don’t you think? For example: If THE best basketball player in the world comes from a small poor country, not known for basketball, does he cease to exist as being the best basketball player? By no means. The reason I give this example is because, no matter what, if God chooses to come from a specific country, by all means. God chose Israel 2000 years ago, and now in these days He chose a small country in the east. God can do as He wants, I can’t judge God.
God doesn’t have to come, who are we to say anything? That’s the most important thing to focus on, not the country that He came too, but the fact that God had the mind and heart to come again. That’s the most important thing. Not to question or debate whether why this or why that. God coming to this earth shows His boundless love, that us weak human beings so earnestly need and long for. Of course we may or may not have heard of 2nd Coming Christ or understand so quickly, but that’s why bible studies are so important so that we don’t lack the knowledge of God (Hos 6:4) We can only come to understand and know our true Creator God through the bible (Jn 5:39), the way God intended it be, and not through anything else. Just Keep studying about the Feasts of God and our God who came from the ends of the earth as bible prophesied!

It makes a great deal of sense that the original has to come before anyone can copy or make a knock-off. I thought it was odd too, hearing that Korea is traditionally not a Christian country, but many false Christian prophets come from there. Further study of the bible led me to know why so many false prophets have come from there – because what Christ Ahnsahnghong had to say was on queue with the bible – of course people will then follow suit and claim they are The Christ but Christ Ahnsahnghong made absolutely valid points that others would want to have as their own. Why were His points so valid and original? Because He is the original as testified in the bible – the true Second Coming Christ prophesied to come from the rising of the sun. And in Korea the false teachers and Christ’s all came after the original proving their actions are only just a copy.

yes, there are many people proclaiming themselves as a the second coming of Christ in South Korea because the scripture testifies that 2nd coming Christ must come from the east, the farthest corner and ends of the earth. The Bible clearly pinpoints Korea. There is no doubt about it. But now…..
The question is…. How can we distinguish The true Christ from the false ones?
-Should we recognize our God, out of his appearance, by the way he walks or what kind of family he comes from?

– Only through the bible, through his teachings and whether He fulfilled the prophecies or not.Fortunately, Christ Ahnsahnghong is 2nd coming Christ because the bible testifies who he is and he is the one who fulfilled every single prophecy in the bible.

Even though there are so many people that judge and speak bad about our church because it was founded in South Korea, I just want to say that EVERYTHING, even what they are doing now is being done by the salvation work of Christ Ahnsahnghong. All prophecies of the bible point to Him, our Savior who has come in the last days as a man from the east to grant us salvation. Look at the history of the World Mission Society Church of God and even the history of South Korea and you will be able to witness the amazing work of God. Isaiah 46:10-13 “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ 11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do. 12 Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are now far from my righteousness. 13 I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel.” People may talk about the church of God but they can never stop the work of God from being done.

A copy (or imitation) is a replica of an exact original. This clearly indicates that in order for there to be a false 2nd coming Christ, the True (or original) 2nd coming of Christ must exist in the same place of origin as the reproduction of it’s’ replica (hence: South Korea). It should be natural that 2nd coming Christ comes from South Korea (the East), because it goes against every assumption and self proclaim prophesy of where people believe Christ would appear a 2nd time. The great thing about an original is that there are always several ways to prove that it is a “One of a Kind.” All false Jesus{es}/ 2nd coming Christ have already proven to be fake, yet till today there is still no indication that Christ Ahnsahnghong is not the True 2nd Coming of Christ (just false rumors) ; which clearly is validating his authenticity as the True Savior in this Last Age! Case solved.

Its ashame how many people today are so quick to judge a book by its cover. They will study, how and when but as soon as they study where, they cant except Father and Mother because of their fixed concepts. South Korea, yea who would suspect that but its bible prophecy. Thank Father and Mother for this counter measure, hopefully through this, their fixed minds can be broken and they can come to know true God.

After reading this article I came to realize that many people don’t understand the teachings of the Bible at all. When you ask people the question if God were to come again in the flesh, where would He come from? Most people respond saying North America or He would come from a rich family. In the same way, when you tell people that Second Coming Christ came from the East in South Korea, as prophesied in the Bible, many people question it. 2,000 years ago the same thing happened to Jesus. John 1:45-46 “Philip found Nathanael and told him ‘we have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked.” People at that time had their own fixed concept about Nazareth and that Christ wouldn’t appear from there. They had their own idea that Christ would come from a palace and live with kings. We can see that even before Christ came on this earth, it was already prophesied in the Old Testament that He would come from Nazareth. We can see that people think that Second Coming Christ will come from a luxurious palace and live with kings as well. We need to study the Bible’s teaching and not have our own mindset or thought. The Bible prophesied that Christ would come from the East. East of where? We should study the Bible thoroughly and come to understand where Second Coming Christ will come from so we can accept Him fully.

As the evidence of Christ coming a 2nd time becomes more known there will be a lot of “false Christ”. There are many from the Puerto Rican jesus to the Indian jesus. But South Korea has the most “false Christ” appearing. Now why is that? It is because the place where Christ is to return is South Korea.
According to the prophets of the Old Testament to the last book in the bible-Revelation, God is to return a 2nd time from the East to bring salvation. So we just have to find out where did salvation come from? In Rev 7:1-4 the seal of God which the angel from the east has-has the ability to protect us from the last disasters. This is salvation. Seal of God is Salvation. Salvation in the Bible is the New Covenant Passover- Mt 26:17-19, 26-28. Passover has the ability to protect us from the disasters Ex 12:10-14. Passover is Salvation- Seal of God. Then where was Passover re-established? In 1948- Christ Ahnsahnghong re-established the Passover in South Korea– so that mean the East the bible refers to it South Korea since the seal of God -Passover appeared there.So the reason why there are many false christ in South Korea is due to the fact that Christ has come from there.
Then can anything good come out from South Korea?
Sure can. God has planned to appear from there. -
I believe God created the entire earth, and it is all the same to God. Then why does it matter where God comes from, as long as They come to save us. I feel like this is a trivial debate, especially when you consider all the prophecies where the Bible speaks about God coming from the East! I am sinner not worthy of God’s salvation, which is why I fully accept God’s plan and that is that God will come from S. Korean and save the world.

I am proud to say that my Savior came from South Korea, just as a German is proud of calling Jesus his Savior. It doesn’t matter where Christ will come to, as long as it is prophesied in the Bible. South Korea is a place on earth. Jesus said he would come a second time…to this earth. It shouldn’t matter where he comes from, as long as he fulfills scripture. Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother fulfilled the Bible 100%, appearing in S. Korea.

As we know history clearly repeats itself (Ecc 1:9). We have the scriptures to learn from the past so we do not make the same mistakes(Rom 15:4). Do not make the mistake of doubting that the WMSCOG is the true church because there are so many false churches and Christs in South Korea. The reason why there are so many false churches and false teachings is because the true church of God and the true Christ exist in Korea. We all know a fake cannot exit unless there is an original. But no matter what we can always identify the original very quickly. How do we recognize the true Christ? it is because the scriptures testify about them. So please come to realization and go to the nearest Church of God to realize the true Christ that the bible prophesies about.

This article has such a good point, you can not have a copy without having an original. So if the copies are coming from South Korea, then where should the Original also be from? So then the true Second Coming Christ is from South Korea. Even the Bible testifies that Second Coming Christ is from the East, “I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun. Rev 7:2. And where does the sun rise from? The East. So even though people speak against Second Coming Christ, there is evidence to prove them wrong.

Truly God makes no mistakes and really makes it simple.
What is false will always follow what is true because how can they be conceivable if they themselves have nothing to base their facts on. Gods words in the Bible clearly says from a far off land, in the east, off the island of Patmos. What is the only place that is the last land in the east, directly east??? KOREAAAAA! According to God’s word which should be the most important because it is true says He the second coming Christ is from Korea. It did not say north or west or middle east, but just far off east. True followers of Christ are going to search for God and study His word for clues.
