WMSCOG a Religious Group in Korea
Where was the WMSCOG founded?
When browsing the web, I came across an article that questioned the beliefs of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) due to the fact that it started in South Korea. It’s ironic, but when you look into the Bible, the same thing was done to Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago:
John 1:45-46 “Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ ‘Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked…”
As we see in the passage, even 2,000 years ago the people of Israel had a fixed concept about Nazareth and that made Nathanael judge and doubt the credibility of Jesus just because He was from there.
That is the same bias the article was trying to push on the reader regarding the WMSCOG and its founder. They even quote a Korean professor saying, “There are many gods and Jesus[es] in Korea.” This is true; there are many people in Korea who claim to be Second Coming Christ. Doesn’t that make you wonder why? I mean, South Korea is not even a historically Christian country – then why is this phenomena happening?
Imitations cannot exist without an authentic one
Well, let me answer that with an analogy: in today’s society, brand name items are very popular. You have brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, and so on. These brands are so popular and so expensive that many imitations appear in the market. Now let me ask you a question: without a real Chanel bag, can there be imitations? Or if I say I have an imitation of a Louis Vuitton wallet, is that possible without a real Louis Vuitton wallet existing? No, that would be impossible.
Now why do so many people who claim to be Second Coming Christ appear in South Korea? The answer is simple: because the real Second Coming Christ must come from there. Let’s see:
Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
According to the Bible, Second Coming Christ must appear in the last days and bring salvation. Salvation literally means to save someone from harm. Then where does the salvation work start from in the last days?
Revelation 7:1-3 “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’”
Before the great disaster comes on the last day according to the Bible prophecy, the work of salvation must start from the east. The original language of the Bible’s New Testament, which is Greek, communicates the same directional point: “…from the rising of the sun…”
Now the question is, who is the savior from the east? And where is the east according to the Bible? That’s a topic for another discussion…

To those that have received God’s mercy, it is so clear that 2nd coming Christ comes from the east, and that the far off land is s. Korea. But the pharisees of today try so hard to blind the people to the truth. It is so obvious, only Christ can bring salvation, then if salvation, the Passover, starts in the east then that is where our savior is from. We shouldn’t be so focused as to where or why but just be grateful and receive the most precious gift of salvation that God Almighty is granting to us.

It’s true history repeats itself. Nobody believed or understood that the Messiah would come from Nazareth 2000 years ago, it is the same now. If we don’t believe the Bible we will never recognize the Christ no matter where he comes from.

It is mind boggling that people automatically assume that our church is false and our Father, Christ AhnSahngHong is not the true God because He came from Korea. It was absolutely the same at Christ’s coming. Even Nathanael said, “Nazareth? Can anything good come from there?” So the people of this age say, “South Korea, can anything good come from there,” not realizing that the bible prophesied that Second Coming Christ would do His sealing work from the East. They also are in disbelief that Christ can come from South Korea because so many false Christs have come from there. Even in the time of Jesus there were many people proclaiming to be Christ. There was Theudas and Judas the Galilean (Acts 5:36-38). Yet they were not the true Christ so they failed and their disciples scattered. It is the same now, although there were/are so many false Christs they have all failed and our Father and the WMSCOG will never fail because it is the true church established by Christ AhnSahngHong who fulfilled all of the prophecies.

It is amazing to see how history repeats over and over again. We should look into history to not repeat the same mistakes, but as we know, man always stumbles with the same rock. Second coming christ is prophesied to appear from the east, but we need to study the prophesy in order to understand that Christ Ahnsahnghong is true God Almighty. Whoever believes what those who speak against Christ Ahnsahnghong say, they will have the same fate as the Pharisees 2000 yr ago.

It doesn’t matter where the World Mission Society Church of God was formed or where 2nd Coming Christ was prophesied to appear from… What if he was African, Brazil or Australia? Does location really matter? What matters more… our fixed concept on geographic locations and ethnicity or fulfillment of biblical prophecies that lead us to salvation? For those who can’t break their own fixed concept the Christ will surely be a rock that will make you stumble (Romans 9:33)

To me it doesn’t matter where the Christ came from, because it is not anyone’s choice but God’s who decides where He will come from. But I am more thankful and amazed that Christ came to this earth AGAIN and even fulfilled the prophecy by coming to South Korea. God doesn’t even have to come to this earth, but came even in a small and poor country in a humble human form just to save us. So we shouldn’t focus so much on where He came from but on the fact that He came to give us Salvation, fulfilling the prophecies of the Bible.

When I first heard about the savior coming from Korea, I thought why Korea? However it was the same 2000 years ago. Why Bethlehem ? Well the bible says so, “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” (Micah 5:2 NIV) what if the bible said that 2nd Christ must come from Africa , or Australia, or India Then we must believe the bible. I believe it doesn’t matter what place you tell people the savior will come from they will question and criticize . However we have to believe in accordance with the bible. The bible says east than we must believe it,
For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. (Matthew 24:27 NLT) -
What is happening now happened 2000 years ago at the time of Jesus’ first coming. As the article shows, people rejected Jesus because He came from Nazareth which did not have great reputation. However, even if the Savior comes from the worst of the worst areas, if He is prophesied to come from there, we should not judge Him by that. I hope everyone has a correct understanding about the true Savior who is testified in the Bible.

As this old phrase goes “often imitated but never duplicated”. The only thing that can not be duplicated is Eternal Life. No other church but the WMSCOG has it. Truly it is a blessing to realize through God’s plan of salvation, that He had to come from a far off land in the east (S. Korea) to give it.

This makes total sense! What good can come from Nazareth? God… How much better can you get? According to the bible, God will come a second time from South Korea. Who am I to challenge God? Can I change Gods mind? No way! Gods words are absolute. So if God says he will come from the East, the ends of the Earth from a far off land to bring salvation then I must accept it or else I am in danger of going against God. Also, how come so many fake second coming Christs appear in South Korea? Out of all places… why South Korea!? Because Satan is crafty. Anything to hide the glory of God who comes in the flesh! Sorry, but God’s children will not fall for that! Christ Ahnsahnghong is the TRUE second coming Christ- no doubt about it. Endless proof leaves me without a doubt!

“Now the question is who the savior from the east is? And where is the east according to the Bible?”
I love how the article ends with this question though it is answered already. We can see the truth originated from S. Korea. It is very easy. Despite, the innumerable evidence shown throughout the text (Biblical), we can examine it through the simple elementary truths that Christ gave 2000 years ago as our way to salvation. Since, most Christians can agree that Passover, Sabbath and many of the laws of Christ were established for us to follow in order that we can show God love and be saved. (1 Jn 2:3) Then, when 2nd Coming Christ appears to establish his church it would follow the same doctrine as outlined by Christ 2000 years ago. (Jn 14:26, Jn 6:45) In that case, the teachings of Christ that re-emerged from our time originated from South Korea from Christ Ahnsahnghong himself. This is an irrefutable fact. Therefore, according to the prophecy he is the second coming Christ (Heb 9:28, 1 Co 2:10), and the church he established is the location reserved for the remnant in the last days. (Isa 33:20, Jer 4:5, Micah 4:5) -
I never realized the passage with Philip and how people questioned Jesus because of where he came. Its amazing how what is written in the past is written to teach us of what would happen now. Even this Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled. We can only realize Christ who comes from the east through the prophecies and Ahnsahnghong is the Christ.

I never would’ve thought the bible could testify to dates and locations. Before coming to the WMSCOG i was agnostic and didn’t believe in Christianity. When i studied and say prophecy that pointed to specific dates and place i had to take a step back and think. The bible said where 1st coming Christ would be born and even that he would be born in 4 BC, so why wouldn’t it testify the same facts about 2nd coming Christ? It’s all in the bible clear as day, you not only must study to know the prophecy, but also believe in it’s fulfillment otherwise we can come to reject Christ all over again.
-
Though many self-claimed Christ came out from Korea, no one ever restored the truth of the early church. Christ Ahnsahnghong is the only one who restored all the truth which can lead us to salvation. That is why He is the true second coming Christ coming from the East.

I think its amazing that God came a Second time from South Korea. What’s even more amazing is the religious history of Korea in general. They were historically a hermit kingdom only an all Budhist country! But then in Christ Ahnsahnghong begins teaching EVERYTHING about the bible, all the prophecies, all the truth that Jesus taught 2000 yrs ago. Even the bible speaks about Christ coming a Second time from the east many times which has never been taught before until Christ Ahnsahnghong appears. Then its very easy to understand that because Christ came from there that now South Korea almost 100% Christian religion. Where there is truth how much false would spring up as well. There are fake Jordan shoes because there are real Jordan shoes, there are fake Gucci bags because there are real Gucci bags. But the way to recognize Second Coming Christ who comes from East (S. Korea) is that he is the only one who can bring back Passover (Heb 9:28) and restore all the truth about God. It just happens to be from S. Korea another concept broken to understand that our thoughts are not Gods thoughts, and God will do all that God wants (Isa 55:8, Isa 46:10)! I’m glad God didn’t come from America.
