WMSCOG a Religious Group in Korea
Where was the WMSCOG founded?
When browsing the web, I came across an article that questioned the beliefs of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) due to the fact that it started in South Korea. It’s ironic, but when you look into the Bible, the same thing was done to Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago:
John 1:45-46 “Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ ‘Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked…”
As we see in the passage, even 2,000 years ago the people of Israel had a fixed concept about Nazareth and that made Nathanael judge and doubt the credibility of Jesus just because He was from there.
That is the same bias the article was trying to push on the reader regarding the WMSCOG and its founder. They even quote a Korean professor saying, “There are many gods and Jesus[es] in Korea.” This is true; there are many people in Korea who claim to be Second Coming Christ. Doesn’t that make you wonder why? I mean, South Korea is not even a historically Christian country – then why is this phenomena happening?
Imitations cannot exist without an authentic one
Well, let me answer that with an analogy: in today’s society, brand name items are very popular. You have brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, and so on. These brands are so popular and so expensive that many imitations appear in the market. Now let me ask you a question: without a real Chanel bag, can there be imitations? Or if I say I have an imitation of a Louis Vuitton wallet, is that possible without a real Louis Vuitton wallet existing? No, that would be impossible.
Now why do so many people who claim to be Second Coming Christ appear in South Korea? The answer is simple: because the real Second Coming Christ must come from there. Let’s see:
Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
According to the Bible, Second Coming Christ must appear in the last days and bring salvation. Salvation literally means to save someone from harm. Then where does the salvation work start from in the last days?
Revelation 7:1-3 “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: ‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’”
Before the great disaster comes on the last day according to the Bible prophecy, the work of salvation must start from the east. The original language of the Bible’s New Testament, which is Greek, communicates the same directional point: “…from the rising of the sun…”
Now the question is, who is the savior from the east? And where is the east according to the Bible? That’s a topic for another discussion…

Second Coming Christ has to come from some country in the World. It does not matter where as long as the place is in accordance with the bible prophecies!

I find it amazing that God always does what he pleases; contrary to the mindset or will of human beings. In the same way that Jesus appeared from a place that people were quick to judge, Christ who comes a second time will be judged from where he appears. Nowadays, many people claim to read the bible and know Jesus, but in reality they don’t know the first thing about Jesus. When they think of Jesus, they have a Hollywood image in their mind; not the root out of dry ground described in the bible. The teachers of the law at the time accused and despised Jesus because he was from Nazareth of Galilee. How ridiculous is it to deny and reject God who comes in the flesh because of the town or country from which he was born or raised? In the same way, people are slandering Christ Ahnsahnghong because he is from South Korea. The truth of the matter is- the true Christ that is testified in the bible will never be liked or understood by the majority. If you come and study the bible, you will see this clearly. Only those who can realize the prophecies and not rely on their own wisdom will see Christ as a treasure when he comes.

Wow it’s so true we can’t just go by where we think it’s better for Christ to appear we must strictly follow the Bible..A few years ago when I was just begun my Faith in the WMSCOG My Aunt one day told me ahh you believe in a Korean man and a Korean woman as Christ ??? you are brain washed are you crazy I don’t believe a word you say ????!!!!!! At that moment I was shocked so I thought about it and God moved me.. I was able to answer kindly…. even if it was testified that Christ would appear from America you still wouldn’t believe because you never want to see through the Bible…. So I kindly told Her the reason why I Believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong ( whom you call a Korean man ) and Heavenly Mother ( whom you call a Korean woman ) is simply because the Bible points to Them as being the Christ(Rev 22:17)(John5:39)
But not just because it says the Spirit and the Bride but because it points directly… Where…When….How….Whom…. (John 5:39) the Bible points to the Christ…. we can not rely on what we think is correct…. We have to rely on the prophecies and the Word of God when it comes to believing in the Bible.. When it comes to shopping however…. if you want to save money at the grocery store than its good to use common sense… Let us never fall sort of salvation because of or own thoughts or what seems makes sense or good to us…. but rather follow Gods voice that has been recorded in the Bible that still echos even at this very second … 🙂 May God truly Bless everyone to see this Truth !!! If we claim to be Christians then we must believe in what the bible says. As Christians, finding out that the bible says the Savior has already come should be the greatest news of all time. Even I, who did not consider myself a Christian nor believe in the bible when seeing for myself that God has come from the east, intrigued me to study the bible more. The whole bible testifies about God coming from the east. People have a hard time believing God came as a Korean man. But didn’t God come as a Jewish man? People ask why Korea? But I never heard anyone ask why Israel? In actuality, God did not have to come but He did, not once but twice. The point is that God came in the flesh to save us.

Wow amazing the fact that God almighty came from korea and established the WMSCOG testifies that this is the authentic church lets see why through the bible.

There are many more verses,but my point is bible testifies east again,and again then just let it be,Gods plan cannot be thwarted by men.

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?
Lets try to see according to the bible,if we are true Christians who really love christ then lets check what church we go to is really the authentic one or just a man made impostor. I hope you can come check out the truth in the nearest WMSCOG. See you soon

In order to fulfill prophecy many false prophets are suddenly appearing from the east, South Korea, but why? According to the bible it testifies when Christ appears a second time He will be coming from the east (cf. Rev 16:12, Isaiah 41:2, Isaiah 45:13, Rev 7:2). In our day to day life we know when there’s TRUTH, false is creeping right around the corner. Nothing is done without the warning from Father many are proclaiming to be Christ in order to fulfill prophecy in the scriptures. God also gave His children the way to identify true Christ. How is that? Through what He testify he would bring. We could see in Hebrews 9:28 “so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him”. When Christ appears He will reestablish the Passover (cf.John 6:53-54, Matt 26:17-27) the way for the children to receive eternal life. There are so many verses in the Bible describing salvation coming from the east. The thing is, God is so merciful to point out any direction at all. We can instantly cross off the list all of the churches claiming to be “the one and only truth” coming from the west. Also, we know that the objective of Christ coming is to bring salvation– which is found through the Passover/Mother. At this, we have proof enough that Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Savior as he brought it/Her– but also now we have even more proof as He came from the east.

Well… I believe that is very important to understand what are we?
isa 40.25 – To Whom Will you compare me?or who is my equal?”says the holy One.
We have no authority to judge or decide from where Second Coming of Christ has to Come. According with prophecy in the bible Christ Ahnsahnghong is God Almighty and he came from South Korea then, instead of judge or compare yourselves to God .
Come to our church to study and understand because, as bible say 1Cor 2,16″For who has Known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?”But we have the mind of Christ.
We members of Church of God knows the truth not because we are better then anyone else but because we believe and follow the bible. -
God doesn’t want to confuse us, the enemy does. The only way to see the light amongst the darkness is to listen and FOLLOW THE VOICE OF GOD. The voice of God is the teachings laid out in the Bible which ultimately lead us to Heaven. So in order to find Him; the One who only true believers are waiting for, you have to find His teachings. The REAL teachings of Christ can only be found in the WMSCOG. Then what does it say about its founder?

Never would we have imagined or thought that God will come from South Korea but when we look back at our lives don’t many events take place that we would have never imagined. Though we make many plans does it mean that it will go exactly as we plan? The answer is no. What about God’s plans (Proverbs 19: 20-21) God’s plans surely prevail. The bible is a book of prophecy but we cannot understand it until it is fulfilled. Daniel received much wisdom from God he was even able to write down kingdoms that would come into existence hundreds of years later. But how do you think he felt writing it down (Daniel 8:27). He laid exhausted for several days it was beyond his understanding. But did it stop God’s plans from prevailing, no. Though we may not understand prophecy immediately it does not mean it is not true. So many times I hear Korea that’s such a foreign place but will it stop it from happening if it is God’s plan, the answer in no. Foreign yea your right it is God said it will be (Isaiah 28:11). Then who is this message for (Isaiah 28:9) it’s for the children of God. Christ Ahnsahnghong he fulfilled the prophecy of coming from the east to bring the seal of God (Rev 7:1) so that the children of God who were once separated from God can once again fully believe in God and be able to receive eternal life. So when we see prophecy being fulfilled what we shall do (Rev 1:3) take it to heart. If you come to the church of God we will deliver this truth to you to the fullest extent of our strength.

I could go on for hours about my frustration with dealing with people who have a fixed mindset. I’ve always been pretty open to new things so when I meet someone who refuses to let a new idea enter their mind because that is just not what they had been taught it really bothers me. I’m grateful that Father and Mother allowed me to be open minded at the time I was preached to because I could easily have rejected and still be in a mindless wander to this day. I just pray that Father and Mother allow me to keep it in mind how blessed I am so that I never fall into that void.

There are many verses in the bible that testify about 2nd coming Christ coming from the east bringing salvation. The new Testament prophets as well as the old Testament prophets testify to this fact. What ever is written in the bible will be fulfilled, even if it doesn’t go according to our own concepts. God said he will come from the east at his 2nd coming to bring salvation, and as God says, it will be done. ( Isaiah 46:11)

No matter what people believe, God’s will is done! Second Coming Christ has come back with a new name just as He said He would. Thanks be to God who came back for us. They didn’t have to back to this world a second time, but Father and Mother have come. I’m so happy that God allows me to see and understand what the will of God is. I wish everybody could see and not judge according to where Christ chose to come back, but that’s not God’s will. The same way they treated Jesus 2000 years ago, is the same today. I hope that God will allow them to see and understand before its too late. Mother is waiting for us to change so Father can take us home. Thanks be to Father Ahnshanghong and Heavenly Mother! I love you so much!!!

Do not judge the book by its cover, and do not judge the Christ by where he came from. Study the bible prophecies to see that the Christ will surely come from the East. It’s not a trivial matter. The one from the east has the seal of God that protects us from that dreadful day

It’s truly amazing to see how WMSCOG is being treated the same exact way as
the early church 2,000 years ago. There is no doubt that this is GOD’s true church! As
Christians, we know that Second Coming Christ will come. Why? Because the Bible
says so. Then why not believe the prophecies that show us Second Coming Christ has
already come in the flesh to South Korea? It’s the most amazing joy when we receive
GOD Ahnsahnghong who truly fulfilled all the prophecies!
