WMSCOG is wrong according to Matthew 24

Second Coming Christ is in Zion

According the Matthew 24 Christ Ahnsahnghong is a false prophet?

In the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) we believe Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Second coming of Christ, we often tell people that according to the lesson of the fig tree, Second Coming Christ already appeared in 1948, and that He came in the same way as 2,000 years ago; that is as a human being. When we tell people about this, they often say that it cannot be possible, because of several reasons, but one of them is the following verse:

Matthew 24:23-26 – At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it…

They go on to say, that since the Bible said not to believe anyone who says: “Here is the Christ, or there he is” then Christ Ahnsahnghong is a false Christ, and therefore they cannot believe in Him. But there is a couple of things we have to realize on how this verse does not apply to Christ Ahnsahnghong and the WMSCOG.

Even if the real Christ appears we won’t be able to believe in Him.

If we interpret the verse above without taking into consideration the context then we cannot believe even if the real Christ appears. For if someone says: “look here is the Christ”, even if it is the real one, we can’t believe it; or if someone says: “look Christ is over there”, even if it is the real one, we can’t believe it. So how are we supposed to believe the real one when He does appear?

What we need to understand is that Jesus was giving this warning to His disciples — to the ones who had already met the Christ – to them Jesus said: “If anyone says to you, here is the Christ or there He is do not believe it.” So what disciples was Jesus speaking to? If we read a few verses before we can understand.

Matthew 24:20 – Pray that your flight will not take place in the winter or on the Sabbath.

As we can see through the verse above, Jesus was speaking to His disciples who were keepers of the Sabbath day, to the disciples who are indeed keeping God’s commandments, not to the ones who disobey Gods commandments, by keeping Sunday as the day of worship to God.

Second Coming Christ will appear to those who are waiting for Him.

Now one thing that we have to admit is that second coming Christ will surely appear to bring salvation, but according to the Bible, this salvation will not be given to everyone.

Hebrews 9:28 – so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

As we can see through the passage above, when second coming Christ appears, the purpose of His coming is to bring salvation. Concerning this salvation, the Bible says that it is not for everyone to receive, but it will only be given to those who are waiting for Him. In order to receive the salvation which second coming Christ brings, we need to be the ones who are waiting for Him; however in order to wait for Him, we need to know where He will appear. How can we wait for Him, if we do not know where He is going to appear?

Christ must appear in Zion

We need to find out according to Bible where is the place in which second coming Christ will appear, in order for us not to be deceived by a false Christ. Where can we put our trust?

Isaiah 28:16 – So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.

God tells us that in Zion He will lay a stone, and that whoever puts their trust here will never be dismayed. Then what is this stone that has been laid as the cornerstone and foundation for Zion?

Acts 4:10-11 — … It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth … He is “the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.

According to the Bible Christ is that stone which is mentioned in Isaiah, He is the one who is the sure foundation to Zion, and whoever trusts in the Christ which is found in Zion will never be dismayed. As it is written in 1 Peter:

1 Peter 2:4-8As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in scriptures it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame…

Apostle Peter understood that the prophecy of the Stone in Zion was about how the Christ would become the foundation to Zion. Now if Christ is the foundation to Zion, this means that we can always meet the Christ in Zion.

Psalm 132:13-14 – For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling: “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it…

God chose Zion as His dwelling place forever and ever, that is why God appeared in Zion 2,000 years ago at His first coming, and in the same way, He will appear in Zion at His second coming. It doesn’t matter how many times God decides to come to this earth; He will always appear in Zion, for God said that Zion is His dwelling place forever and ever.

The WMSCOG is Zion

How can we recognize what place is Zion among all the places on this earth; is it the physical Zion found in the middle east? Or is it a spiritual place? Lets see what the Bible says:

Hebrews 12:22-24 – But you have come to Mount Zion … to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men … to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant…

According to the Bible, Zion is a church. Then what characteristics does a Church need to have to be recognized as Zion?

Isaiah 33:20 – Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals…

Zion is the Church that keeps the feasts of the New Covenant (Lev 23), that is:

• The Sabbath

• The Passover

• The Feast of Unleavened Bread

• The Feast of Firstfruits (Resurrection)

• The Feast of Weeks (Pentecost)

• The Feast of Trumpets

• The Day of Atonement

• The Feast of Tabernacles

The feasts above are the 7 feasts of God, in addition to the weekly feast of the Sabbath; these are the feasts that need to be kept in a Church in order for the Church to be recognized as Zion. In the World, it is only the WMSCOG that keeps all the feasts of God, and for this reason we are confident that we are in Zion.

Then according to Matthew 24, for those who are already in Zion, who have met second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, if someone says: “Here is he Christ or there he is” do not believe it, for we are sure that the savior always appears in Zion, and that savior is Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Romans 11:26 — …The deliverer will come from Zion…

I would aslo like to say concerning Acts when the 2 men say jesus go up into the sky, he went up in the sky in the flesh, it was after he had been speaking with his disciples after he ressurected. when you see luke 24:39 he appeared to them in the flesh then stayed with them for 40 days speaking o the kingdom of God, according to Acts chapter 1. He went up to heaven…in the flesh, and because in the sky there are clouds, when they looked up the clouds in the sky hid him. it doesnt say he went up in a cloud and thats how hes coming back. He went up in the flesh and will return in the same way…in the flesh. I just hope people can open their minds because they will be greatly disappointed very soon that they couldnt believe this concept. However, it is impossible to understand the correct interpretations of the bible without keeping the commands of go and only keeping laws of men.

It’s funny to me that people hold on to Matthew 24:23 so literally, but disregard verse 20 when Jesus spoke about the Sabbath. Is it only the teachings regard false prophets that we should concern? ALL words of Christ is equally important, and only the Church of God has the commandments of God, feasts of God, and teachings that come from the Bible but not men. All these teachings are from Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, who fulfilled the prophecies Themselves. If we only hold on to Mathew 24:23 and close out ears on the teachings, doesn’t that make us like the Jews who crucified Jesus 2,000 years ago? Because Jehovah God did say that He is the ONLY GOD and NO OTHER.

Clearly the Bible lets us know that God dwells FOREVER in Zion. Therefore, the place that we can find God, and God’s people is Zion–the Church of God! (Psalm 132:13-16, Hebrews 12:22-23)

You know why I trust this “interpretation” of Matt. 24?

Look at how clear and how much evidence is presented to back up this topic.

First understanding the context in which the verse was written, what Jesus said in context and then pointing out the fact that scripture clearly states He (Christ) will come again to bring salvation to those who are waiting.. and so forth.

As I read this article I can have sure confidence that what I am reading is true and from the bible.

Some churches don’t even open the bible some take a verse give their own “interpretation” of that particular verse. I have been to a church where they sit in a circle and spend 2-3 hours discussing one verse by allowing each member to give their “thought” & “opinion” and at the end of it I was left with no understanding whatsoever.

I heard some churches even give sermons using only one verse and speak more than hour giving their own thought on what it really means .. how frightening!

I feel it’s best to look into the scriptures to find its true interpretation as the writer of this article did.. actually what Christ Ahnsanghong has done.

Every study given at the WMSCOG is done in this way. Christ Ahnsahghong spent bours, years, and sleepless nights writing these verses and putting them together for us today so that we may be sure and confident..so that we can confirm and put trust in God’s word.. so that eventually we can have a sure hope for salvation.

I’m so thankful for once again receiving the grace of God’s promise by renewing my faith through this article. It’s without a doubt that the message the WMSCOG is from God!

Thank You so much for this article , it helps me realize how precious and unique is the truth in the Church of God. As i read mat 24 it does speak about the signs of the end but also the signs of the second coming Christ , when it comes to the 2nd coming Christ , Jesus warned them of the appearance of false messiahs. So, since there are people who will claim to be the Christ at the time of Jesus’ 2nd coming , doesn’t it mean that the true Christ will surely appear first and then people will claiming to be the Christ? . What i mean is that how can fake appear without the original appearing first. Do you like Nike? the original ones usually are around 100 or more , but if you want ,you can also get Nike for 20 or 30, it looks exactly the same but unfortunately it is fake. Its a fact , in order for the fake to exist , original must exist first. So since there will be false messiahs appearing at the time of the signs of the second coming Jesus , this surely means TRUE SECOND COMING CHRIST MUST APPEAR FIRST, and without a doubt the fig tree lesson is the sign of the Appearance of second coming Christ, and HE IS CHRIST AHNSAHNGHONG. To know God is eternal Life, therefore i would encourage people to study the scriptures in the Church of God rather than following people’s ideas based on their own opinion about a verse. After i studied the Bible at the Church of God I have built up my faith in Christ Ahnsahnghong , based on the prophecies He fulfilled .I give glory and thanks to God Christ Ahnsanhghong and God the Mother Jerusalem for leading me To Zion so i can be saved.

Wow! How amazingly perfect this truth is thanks to Father and Mother! As it was for our brothers and sisters who followed Christ 2000 years ago to “watch out for false christs” so even today,it’s only for us who know and belong to the truth that Matthew 24 would make sense to “watch out for false christs” not for people in the world.

  8. Yema

If there’s no true Christ then how can there be a false Christ? You can only recognize a knockoff brand if you know what the real brand looks like already. So in order for us to watch out for a false Christ, shouldn’t we have already met the true Christ? That’s one.

Two. If the true 2nd coming Christ was supposed to “decend” from heaven as a spirit (since some claim he must return the way he left) then why would there be a need to watch out for false Christs? False Christs are all men claiming to be Jesus returned, so if Jesus were to return in spirit wouldn’t it be easy to recognize the true from the false? So this also testifies to Christ having to come in the flesh.

God said He removes the wisdom from those who keep men’s traditions (Sunday, communion, etc) instead of God’s commandments (Sabbath, Passover, etc) in Isa. 29:13-14 so it only makes sense that those who are not in Zion are confused about Matt. 24 – God took away their wisdom.

Wow great article! It all makes sense when it’s explained through the bible!

  10. Kevin J Corpuz

Matthew 16:17. All realizations are given by God. I’d like to give thanks to our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother for allowing us to see true God Almighty through the Words of prophecy in the bible. Let’s all continue to spread the Good News that salvation is here on earth!

Great article! Word of God is truly sharper than a double edge sword. “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I’m truly thankful that We are able to recognize Christ as the precious cornerstone laid in Zion. For this was not an achievement made by our own efforts but by God’s overflowing grace.

  12. Nikki

This article is amazing! It’s true, how can you apply Matthew 24:23-26 to each and every situation. Christ warned His disciples so that would not be deceived.

We can compare Mt 24:23-26 with the following:

    2 Corinthians 11:4
You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.

So Christ gave a warning not to accept a false Christ, and Apostle Paul also warned the early Churches not to listen to just anyone or anything.

Apostle Paul addressed many concerns of Christ including the following:
    1. People preaching a different Jesus
    2. People preaching a different gospel

Then the only way to know true Christ and the true gospel is through the scriptures!! The reason why I believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong is because He fulfilled Biblical prophecies. The scriptures lead us to Christ!

    Jn 5:39
You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me.

Then those who believe in the scriptures will believe in Ahnsahnghong!

Wow…I love reading articles on this website because truly everything is clearly seen and easily understood by using the Bible because God’s word is perfect we shouldn’t add or take away from God’s word ever ….. Thanks to Father and Mother for allowing me to understand 💛💚💜
